Nyda should be applied to dry hair
1. Spray all over hair
2. Massage
3. After 30 minutes, comb hair carefully with NYDA’s lice comb
4. Leave hair to dry for at least 8 hours, then wash with any regular shampoo

NYDAComb is an especially designed ergonomic lice comb that glides easily through hair even if it is thick and curly. NYDAComb is a primary diagnosis tool for detecting head lice and eggs as well as removing dead nits. It is also a great tool for wet combing method.

NYDAComb is an ergonomic stainless-steel metal lice comb especially designed to be close (0.2mm) enough that the lice and its eggs cannot escape. NYDAComb has rounded metal tips to prevent any skin damage and make the use comfortable for the patient. Head lice infestations are a significant problem encountered by families around the world. Persistent itching, the main symptom associated with head lice infestation, is triggered by head lice sucking blood several times a day, during which they inject an anticoagulant saliva into the scalp. After initial infestation, it can often take up to several weeks for the immunologic reaction to appear. First of all, red papules become visible on the scalp, which may be followed by nettle-like reactions.

The effectiveness of NYDA is based on the product’s unique physical mode of action. As opposed to the pesticide treatments on the market, the “point of attack” of this mode of action is the insect’s respiratory system. The unique physical properties of NYDA, including the viscosity and slow spreading properties of the solution, allow the product to readily flow into the breathing system of all developmental stages of the insect, thus leading irreversibly to the insects suffocation and death. Extensive clinical data supports the efficacy of NYDA which has been reported to reach 97.2%, thought to be the highest of any product presently commercialized in Canada.

NYDA is simple to use as its 50 ml pump spray bottle allows the formula to be distributed easily, so that the hair is completely covered.

NYDA is a topical treatment of scalp hair in case of infestation with head lice (pediculosis capitis). If used as instructed, NYDA is also effective against nymphs and eggs (nits).

NYDA can be used with children from ages 2 and up.

NYDA should not be used in pregnant or breast-feeding women or in children under the age of two because of lack of experience in these patient groups.

NYDA should be kept away from any open flame or heat source which uses an open flame. Keep away from sources of ignition and do not smoke while using this product. Close eyes tightly while applying NYDA.
